EASTER : Mardi Gras - Ash Wednesday - Lenten Season

EASTER : Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:3-4,14). The four Gospels make it clear that Jesus was crucified in conjunction with the Jewish Passover (Matthew 26:17-19; Mark 14:12-16; Luke 22:7-15; John 18:28,39; 1...  Read More...

Tuesday of Passion Week

[TUESDAY] The joyous parade-like celebration of Jesus on Palm Sunday was quickly being swallowed in darkness.  As Jesus continued sharing in the Temple courts, opposition and frustration grew from the religious leader’s selfish piety and the crowd’s unmet expectations.  Even as Jesus shared the Parable of the 10 Virgins, the Parable of the Talents, the Final Judgment, and not being blind hearted to the “Least of These” (Matthew 25), the religious leaders actively discouraged the people not to accept His invitation to the Kingdom of heaven.  Every time they tried to trap Jesus, it only exposed their own depravity.

May this Resurrection Season God open our eyes to see that the “least of these” include people that already cross your path and that God wants to P.R.O.P.E.L us to REDEEM them!

PROPEL: Prayerfully Redeem Other People Exhibiting Love
Matthew 22:37-39, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

The least of these may be people we see every day. Co-workers, students, neighbors, etc.
