EASTER : Mardi Gras - Ash Wednesday - Lenten Season

EASTER : Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:3-4,14). The four Gospels make it clear that Jesus was crucified in conjunction with the Jewish Passover (Matthew 26:17-19; Mark 14:12-16; Luke 22:7-15; John 18:28,39; 1...  Read More...

Prayer Blessing Bags for Campus Personnel

Grateful for your response to our Campus Mission Outreach Project.  Our goal was to be on mission to pray for every person on staff at every school that we have school personnel present.

This meant committing to pray for all the personnel on that campus, making a blessing bag of cookies to encourage and affirm, and remind them to think of us if they have a need.

These campuses are scattered all over the Coastal Bend and average from 45-90 personnel on campus.  We projected our need to be covering 7 different locations... including 5 public schools, a private school, and home school co-op.

After praying for our students... then praying over our school personnel, we assembled all of the goodie bags to be delivered on the first day of school 8/26/13 (for most).

We met our goal Northshore Family style... with a final count of 13 locations!!!  Thank you!! Thank you!!  You are a joy to live with on Faith Adventure!

Thank you for getting the school personnel lists for all of these locations plus any other location that we have children and students attending.... and committing to pray for them TODAY!

Schools prayed for and sent blessing bags include... East Cliff Elementary (our home location), GP Intermediate, W.C. Andrews Elementary, GP Junior High, GP High School, Home School CO-OP, FBC Academy, Gregory Head Start, Blaschke-Sheldon Intermediate ~ Ingleside, GJM Elementary ~ Ingleside, Keiberger Elementary ~ Aransas, Hamlin Middle School ~ Corpus, Flour Bluff Intermediate.

Thank you for investing in our children. You are a difference maker! We have prayed God’s blessing over you. Have a great year and remember us if you have a need. Blessings!

Since the blog report, I have continued to get affirmation from teachers... even having several send a list of prayer requests about things that teachers are struggling. Please continue to pray!
