EASTER : Mardi Gras - Ash Wednesday - Lenten Season

EASTER : Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:3-4,14). The four Gospels make it clear that Jesus was crucified in conjunction with the Jewish Passover (Matthew 26:17-19; Mark 14:12-16; Luke 22:7-15; John 18:28,39; 1...  Read More...

Juine Henry Baptism Story & Video

Juine Henry told me after church that she wanted to ask Jesus into her heart, so we went and asked Dad (Mike) & Mom (Holly) to join the conversation.  Her extended family and church family have been actively praying for her personal faith in Jesus Christ.  Many conversations at home about God combined with a day of worship at church to ready her to respond to the love of God.

After kneeling on the steps of the stage, she put her faith in the grace of Jesus Christ by asking Him to be her Lord and Savior.  Since we already had a party planned, she immediately identified with Jesus Christ by following in believer's baptism as an outward symbol of her inward commitment. (Acts 8)  Juine, thanks for being a picture of grace in action.  Blessings!
