EASTER : Mardi Gras - Ash Wednesday - Lenten Season

EASTER : Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:3-4,14). The four Gospels make it clear that Jesus was crucified in conjunction with the Jewish Passover (Matthew 26:17-19; Mark 14:12-16; Luke 22:7-15; John 18:28,39; 1...  Read More...

In the Name of Jesus Christ

IN THE NAME OF JESUS... the disciples found life!
In the name of Jesus, they surrendered their time and talents!
In the name of Jesus, the gospel was boldly preached!
In the name of Jesus, people believed and were saved!
In the name of Jesus, people were baptized as an outward sign of an inward commitment.
In the name of Jesus, people were healed to give notice to the world to embrace Him for themselves.

Philippians 2:9-11

A divine appointment happened as Peter and John were on their way.  A man crippled from birth was taken daily to beg at the Temple gate.

Acts 3:3-12,"Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, "Look at us." And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, "I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!" And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.  And leaping up he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God, and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. While he clung to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the portico called Solomon's, astounded.  And when Peter saw it he addressed the people...

His disciples reached out… seized him by the hand… using their strength… THEN In Name of Jesus Christ, God did what only He could do by making the man’s feet & ankles strong!

Are you willing to be on mission proclaiming “in the name of Jesus” to your small world?
