Heart FOR the City
Being on mission FOR the city, we should constantly monitor the pulse of our area. In the Coastal Bend, it seems to resonate from the schools! There are unique opportunities at this time of year for ministry in and through our schools. WHAT TO BRING SUNDAY: Bible, Teacher Friends, Homemade Goodies & Teacher Appreciation Gifts for G-P Intermediate Workroom, Cases of Water.
Recognize and Pray for School Personnel
Launching in a NEW location the day before most schools start, there is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and pray for all school personnel. We are blessed with lots of teachers and will intentionally take time
during worship to pray for their Christian influence over the upcoming generations.
Teachers on mission!!!
in the Name of Jesus,
for the glory of God
and the sake of the Gospel!
You are there... in this place...
at this time... for a reason!!!
Teacher Appreciation for G-P Intermediate School
We have a wonderful opportunity to bless the staff our NEW host location by bringing them a huge encouragement of back to school goodies in their teacher workroom. *You can help by bringing lots of homemade goodies in disposable containers, plus other teacher friendly items that we can use to make an amazing display of our gratefulness for all they do! There are about 60 staff on campus, so we needs lots of help to do it right!
G-P Honk Parade Community Outreach
Wednesday, 8/27/14 is the G-P Community Honk Parade! What is it? All athletic and extracurricular events in and through our schools from peewee football players to varsity will meet around Northshore Country Club to ride on flatbed trailers through town and honk to show their spirit. It all culminates with a community pep rally.
You can help by bringing cases of water and leaving them by the trailer. We will meet at Northshore Country Club at 5:30pm in shorts and Northshore Family t-shirts and your walking shoes to assemble new labels for the water bottles and simply walk the area handing out water!
Let's be FOR the city!!!
