EASTER : Mardi Gras - Ash Wednesday - Lenten Season

EASTER : Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:3-4,14). Community Mission Outreach Strategy

Come help be the hands and feet of Christ to our community through the G-P Honk Parade.

When: Wednesday, September 4th @ 6pm

Where: Northshore Country Club mail boxes ~ Portland, TX

What: Wear your Northshore Family t-shirt and come ready to attach custom labels to the water bottles and then simply hand them out to those waiting to start the parade.  People have been told to begin lining up @ 6:30pm for the parade to start at 7pm.

Note: Since the parade rules do not allow for anyone to walk the streets or throw any item during the parade, we will be ready to share water to those waiting to start the parade.

The parade route is Northshore Country Club... past East Cliff... up Wildcat... to the Jr. High.

Done: when the parade starts or we run out of water.  We have lots on floats in the parade who will have to dismiss early to get set, so we can use all the help we can get.

See you there!
