EASTER : Mardi Gras - Ash Wednesday - Lenten Season

EASTER : Christians celebrate Easter as the resurrection of Christ on the third day after His crucifixion. It is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year because of the significance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the events upon which Christianity is based (1 Corinthians 15:3-4,14). The four Gospels make it clear that Jesus was crucified in conjunction with the Jewish Passover (Matthew 26:17-19; Mark 14:12-16; Luke 22:7-15; John 18:28,39; 1...  Read More...

Christmas Eve Serving Others & Lord's Supper

HEB hosts a wonderful holiday event to serve the community at the Feast of Sharing on Christmas Eve @ the American Bank Center.

This is a free holiday meal with entertainment... so they need lots of people to help serve.  For the past two years, I have taken my family to work a shift bussing tables.  I invite you to join this experience.  Our primary time will be serving from 2pm-4pm.  (meet there @ 1:30pm)

I have registered us as a group and can add you easily.  Positions are filling up quickly... almost completely full... so register NOW to reserve a spot... even if you are not completely sure.

It is a great reminder of how blessed we are... how grateful we need to be... how much we really do have... need to keep things in the proper perspective... how doing selfless things matter... how God is glorified in serving and talking with people to show love.  and so much more...
