On your first Sunday at NORTHSHORE FAMILY CHURCH, we encourage you to arrive around 10 minutes early for our celebration service at 10am in the G-P Intermediate School (4200 Wildcat Drive in Portland, TX).

As you arrive, allow us to give you a warm welcome as we connect in the cafeteria.  Come as you are because we dress comfortable and casual.  Help yourself to the breakfast area and free resources.

The countdown will signal the beginning of the service.  Grab a seat and get ready for the service we’ve designed to help you encounter God.

The service begins with all ages joining together for interactive praise and worship singing led by Josh Abel and our Shore Band.

Kids (6th grade and under) are dismissed after we sing to their targeted 252 Basics in our Northshore Kids areas just off the cafeteria.  Adults and youth remain in the meeting room as we allow God's word to intersect with our life, then do our best to respond to God as He leads.  After the message, we are challenged to take the next steps spiritually and we begin the process of putting the resources back into the trailer.

KNOW THIS:  Before you arrive, we have a crew that transforms the school into a church with equipment, resources, and most importantly... a focused time of prayer.

Northshore Family launched in January 2011 from a 40 day+ season of prayer and bible study to leverage lives for the glory of God.  The overflow was God fueling a vision to plant and grow a new church where unchurched people in the South Texas Coastal Bend live Together on FAITH ADVENTURE!

Our passion continues to surge as we realize the percentage of people in our area who do not show the fruit of the knowledge of God and do not attend a church of any kind on a typical Sunday.

We want to create a safe place where people can experience the life-changing message of Jesus Christ in a fresh way.  Our family is growing and we invite you to come experience our one-of-a-kind worship that includes prayer & music, Biblical teaching, and small groups environment.
